Events Offererd Year Round!

Added: Mar 08, 2019
Category: Local Events in Big Bear

Holidays spent in our cabin rentals are an extra special event.

Our vacation homes are conveniently located for shopping in the village, dining in many of the restaurants, just 2 blocks from "Boulder Bay Park", Big Bear's newest "on the lake" park., as well as Steps to Pleasure Point Marina for all your boating & fishing needs, the Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain, Mini-Golf, Bowling, or any of the many resort activities you may choose to indulge in.

For the romance in all of us, don't forget Valentines’ Day, we have romantic cabin rentals with cozy fireplaces and intimate surroundings, just enough to make everything right for that special someone or lodging for lovers.

St. Patrick’s Day is all about the green of course. The area restaurants enjoy offering some fun and interesting items to indulge in. Don’t forget, you may wish to visit one of the bars for green beer.

The Spring Trout Derby held at Pleasure Point Marina is just a brief walk away, Memorial Day and Labor Day is convenient to all the lake has to offer with Pleasure Point Marina being steps away and offering extra special discounts for boat rentals exclusive to our guests only! Spring Break can be a snowy holiday or beautiful with the flowers in bloom.

The Summer season offers many different events, some have been annual favorites while others are new arrivals. Typically the busiest time of year for events.

Independence Day is an incredible show with Fireworks on the lake. One of Southern California’s largest displays! The 4th of July celebration has many festivities in and around Big Bear, picnics in the parks, and bbq's everywhere. The fireworks extravaganza can be seen from some of the cabin rentals we offer.

Our lovely Fall season welcomes a month long celebration of Oktoberfest, known to be one of the largest in Southern California.  October is also when we have the Trout Fest, where anglers from all over come to Big Bear for a “reel” good time! The Autumn season is also a wonderful time to hike one of the many beautiful trails and take in the colorful autumn leaves. Kids enjoy Trick or' Treating in the Village where they can acquire treats safely as the main streets of the village are closed to vehicular traffic allowing kids and adults to roam freely and experience the fun as they get their sweet tooth filled from the merchants.

Thanksgiving is an extra treat with our bountiful options and array of cabin rental sizes to choose from. All of our cabin rentals offer a kitchen stocked with everything needed to prepare a holiday meal, all you need do is bring your turkey and trimmings, the rest is up to you.

Many winters we have been blessed with a "white" Christmas! If you’re planning on celebrating in Big Bear Lake this year, don’t miss Christmas in the Village. It begins every year on the Friday after Thanksgiving with Santa’s Grand Entrance and Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Enjoy singing Christmas carols with all of Big Bear Lake as Santa enters the Village and lights the giant Jeffery pine tree! The Village roads close to vehicular traffic and Santa will make his appearance and then reside in his cabin to welcome guests who choose to make a visit. Share this magical experience with family and friends. Festivities will include allowing children to read their Christmas wishes to Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The New Years’ holiday is celebrated with Big Bear’s traditional event at Snow Summit, the Torch Light Parade. This is where skiers ski the run holding lights as they come down the slopes. The site of which is truly magical!

Whatever the holiday  or season staying in one of our cabin rentals make it so much more special.
